Earlier this morning, Sheriff Eddie Cathey hosted a graduation ceremony honoring the cadets who successfully completed the annual academy. Throughout the program, they developed teamwork, perseverance and valuable skills that deputies and detention officers use every day.

The ceremony concluded with several well-earned promotions. Levi Weizowitz was promoted to Captain, Rebecca Hoopingarner and Elizabeth Keller were promoted to Lieutenant, Kloey Martin was promoted to Sergeant, and Vanessa Perez was promoted to Corporal.
