This past weekend, the Union County Sheriff’s Office Explorers joined forces with the Union EMS Explorers for an exciting and challenging Mass Casualty Training exercise.

Throughout the day, Explorers were placed in realistic scenarios ranging from active shooter incidents to domestic situations that required both law enforcement and EMS response. These hands-on exercises provided a unique opportunity for them to experience the teamwork, communication, and quick decision-making that deputies and paramedics rely on every day.

We are incredibly proud of all the Explorers who participated and grateful to the instructors, volunteers, and agencies who helped make this valuable training possible. The future of public safety is bright!
