Students at Sandy Ridge Elementary showed that even the youngest members of our community can make a big difference. They recently completed an incredible service project benefiting the Junior Sheriff’s Academy through a fun and creative coloring contest.

Students put their artistic talents and school spirit on full display as they designed and decorated their very own police car creations. Congratulations to third grader Niko whose design was voted the winning entry. As part of the special prize, Niko received a ride to school in Deputy Mainero’s patrol car, creating a memory he will never forget.
