This week, Sheriff Eddie Cathey welcomed several employees to the Union County Sheriff’s Office family during a brief ceremony. Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow UCSO employees, each individual took their oath of office as they officially began their new roles with the agency.

Deputy Adam Brock and Deputy Justin Godfrey were both sworn in and will be assigned to Court Security, where they will play an important role in maintaining safety and security within our judicial system.

Stephen Xavier was also welcomed back to the Union County Sheriff’s Office after being rehired into a full-time position as our new Information Systems Coordinator. In this role, he will help support the technology and systems that keep our agency operating efficiently each day.

We are excited to see what the future holds for each of them and look forward to watching them grow in their new roles with the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
