Last week, Sheriff Cathey awarded Detention Officer Justin Logan with being the Detention Officer of the First Quarter. Logan was honored for his exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment within the Detention Division. Throughout the ceremony, Logan was praised for his strong work ethic and his willingness to step in and assist with any task, no matter how big or small.
Logan is guided by his faith and his family, which serve as the foundation of his service. During the ceremony, he had the opportunity to thank his wife and daughter for their support and gave thanks to God for the many blessings in his life. He also leads by example within his squad, taking time to pray together before every shift, a tradition that strengthens their unity, purpose, and commitment to serving the community.
His dedication to his team and to maintaining the highest standards of safety and integrity within the UCSO Detention Center is truly commendable.
Congratulations, Detention Officer Logan, on this well-deserved honor!
