Last week, Sheriff Eddie Cathey hosted a retirement ceremony honoring Deputy Michael Everette for his years of dedicated service. Deputy Everette began his law enforcement career in 2001 with the Stanley County Sheriff’s Office and joined the Union County Sheriff’s Office family in January 2019.

Throughout his time with UCSO, Deputy Everette served in several divisions, including Court Security, Patrol, and the School Safety Division. His career has been marked by a strong commitment to helping others and a deep dedication to serving the citizens of Union County.
