Sheriff Eddie Cathey is proud to announce that Lieutenant Tabitha Rogers has been promoted to Captain over our School Safety Division.

Captain Rogers will continue to demonstrate exceptional leadership, dedication, and a strong commitment to protecting the students and staff across Union County Public Schools. In her new role, she will oversee daily operations, guide our School Resource Officers, and further strengthen the vital partnerships that help keep our schools safe.

Captain Rogers will assume this position following the much-deserved retirement of Captain Dee Allen, whose years of service and leadership have been instrumental to the success of the School Safety Division. We are grateful for Captain Allen’s dedication and wish her the very best in retirement.
