This morning, the Union County Sheriff’s Office proudly hosted a graduation ceremony for the third Junior Sheriff’s Academy of 2025. Each student was individually recognized for completing the week-long program, which offers hands-on experiences and an inside look at law enforcement.

During the ceremony, students Quinn Smith and Ethan Cisternas spoke on behalf of their class, sharing highlights from the week and reflecting on what the experience meant to them. Their remarks showcased the impact the academy has on building leadership, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of public service.

The Junior Sheriff’s Academy continues to be a meaningful way for UCSO to connect with local youth, and we’re grateful to all the students and families who participated in our third session of the year.
